The Sky is the Limit with DB Schenker at AVALON 2023

DB Schenker, one of the world’s leading logistics providers, has been chosen once again as the official logistics provider for the AVALON 2023 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition.

The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition came to Avalon in 1992 at the invitation of then-premier Jeff Kennett who was keen to establish a technology-based event that would attract key industry and defence representatives, as well as tourists.

Avalon 2023 is Australia’s largest international aviation and aerospace industry exposition, providing unrivaled access to the region's aviation, aerospace, defence, and space communities. It serves as a platform for industry at all levels to promote to customers, partners, and suppliers. In 2023, the event will host 798 participating exhibitor companies, with an even greater number of attendees expected compared to the 38,952 in 2019.

Schenker Australia Pty Ltd. will serve as the exclusive on-site handling agent for fifteenth consecutive time, providing all Airshow exhibitors and participants with a comprehensive range of freight forwarding, transportation, logistics, and customs handling services from Australia and around the world.

DB Schenker is expecting to move over 250 tonnes of goods into the exposition for trade and public alike to enjoy. On their way are an array of exciting aircraft including a Super Salto, drones, and even aircraft simulators to try!

DB Schenker has a strong tie-up with the event’s organiser, which also hosts the Land Forces Exposition and the Pacific International Maritime and Naval Defence Expo.

The event will be held at Avalon Airport in Geelong, Victoria from 28th February – 5th March 2023. DB Schenker will be exhibiting in Hall 1 at stand 1A32.
