Main responsibilities
Responsible for
*generating global operational reports and analysis for the DB Schenker business units and central functions.
*assessing and preparing proper commenting and recommendations to Stakeholders for improving the overall result based on financial chances and risks.
*acting promptly when issues to data quality or accuracy of reported figures is identified.
*safeguarding and assurring governance of cost center structures.
*supporting in planning processes (Forecasts, Budget and MTP) and ensuring detailed plans considering specific target settings and strategic directives.
*tracking and developing further performance KPIs, internal and external benchmarks in close alignment with the organizational counterparts.
*ensuring and enforcing governance to global controlling policies and guidelines.
*to assure accuracy and data quality of reported figures.
Consulted
*for the decision making process by providing robust analysis and benchmarks to the financial performance to support global controlling, business units and central functions in regular reporting.
*for planning (Forecast, Budget, mid-term), monthly reporting, KPI definition/tracking, setup/ tracking of operational measures
Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*University degree in business administration, in particular in the areas Controlling, Finance and/or Accounting
*3+ years in multiple financial like roles (preferrably in controlling)
*Ideally experience in the Logistics Industry Controlling (Air, Ocean and Land Freight & Warehouse Logistics) and/or Central Functions Controlling.
*Mandatory proficiency in English language (German language knowledge is a plus)
*Proficiency in MS Office Tools and DBS System (SAP BI, SAC and TM1-Cognos)
*Ideally job experience within international business environment
*Self-motivation, persistent and conclusive thinking,assertive.
