Finnish strike is paused
We have been informed that the Finnish strike that started on March 11th will be paused with effect from Monday, April 8th at 06:00.
The Finnish Trade Union Confederation and the Finnish government have not found a solution to the actual problem. The pause is intended to improve the chances of finding a solution, and there is a risk that the strike may resume.
The pause in the strike means that we can operate normal production from Monday, April 8th until further notice.
From the same date, we will once again offer a delivery guarantee on our product DB SCHENKER l system premium.

Finnish strike extended again
The Finnish strike has once again been extended to April 7, 2024.
Our situation and the previously announced special conditions for our transports to/from Finland remain valid.

As we have previously reported, a long-term strike is ongoing in Finland. We have now been informed that the strike will be extended until April 1, 2024.
Please note that we do not offer a delivery guarantee for our product DB SCHENKER l system premium in any direction at this time.

Strike affects transports to/from Finland March 11-25
Finnish AKT has announced a two-week strike starting on Monday, March 11 at 06:00 and ending on Monday, March 25 at 06:00.
We at DB Schenker in Sweden and Denmark strive to keep our production running with as little impact as possible, but there is a risk of delays. Please also note that we do not offer the time guarantee in our product DB SCHENKER system premium in any direction currently.
Finnish import and export transportation will be affected by the strike. Due to changes in routes and modes of transportation, we reserve the right to charge any additional costs.
