Join Our Team as a Warehouse Supervisor


Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for operations, safety, and team development? At DB Schenker, we’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensure we meet our customers’ expectations while upholding our commitment to Health & Safety.


Location: Leixlip, Kildare

Working hours: 4on 4off, 3on 3off - Days: 7am to 7pm

 

What will you be doing?


  • Supervising and coordinating daily warehouse operations to meet performance and customer service targets
  • Promoting and maintaining a safety-first culture, ensuring employee welfare and housekeeping standards
  • Managing and developing a team of Coordinators and Warehouse Operatives through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews
  • Overseeing workforce planning, timekeeping, holidays, attendance, and training compliance
  • Acting as the main point of contact with customers and 3PL partners, ensuring smooth communication and partnership
  • Participating in safety, quality, and operational meetings, driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Reporting operational KPIs and contributing to cost-saving and efficiency measures


About you:


To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:


  • Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • A strong commitment to safety, with experience managing health and safety in a busy operational setting
  • Excellent people leadership skills — you’re able to motivate, coach, and support a team to meet target
  • Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Confident IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A proactive, can-do mindset with the flexibility to adapt and lead through change
  • Clear communication and relationship-building skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus
