    Job Overview

    Ensure the timely sending of arrival notices, the proper entry of tracking events, and the execution of assigned activities in our system in accordance with the Ocean SOP, import and export procedures, and the Event Control guidelines. The goal is to enable the client to release and clear their cargo, as well as to provide shipment traceability for LCL cargo to the Customer Service department through the our system.

    What will you enjoy doing 

    • Carry out the necessary procedures when the client requests a change in shipment modality or cancellation.
    • Send documentation and arrival notices to the Customer Service team, ensuring they are sent on time—5 days prior to the vessel’s arrival—in order to allow the client to clear their goods on time. (Import)
    • Validate net rates, SOP, COP, and NETCONF FEE to enter the corresponding billing and cost reserves, as well as any additional charges (when applicable), to comply with internal processes and client requirements.
    • Issue instructions and request credit applications to customs brokers, carriers, and terminals to ensure timely cargo release.
    • Closely follow up on shipments that include final delivery services with the consolidator and/or Schenker, in order to meet customer delivery time expectations. (Import)
    • Review Shipping Order requests to process the STT, generate BKG requests to consolidators via their platforms, ensure proper follow-up of booking confirmations within 48 hours, and verify compliance with client instructions. The goal is to share booking details with the Customer Service team and prevent unattended requests. (Export)
    • Complete assigned activities in the system through the Landing Page tool, ensuring timely entry of all mandatory events for import (ARR, RIW, CGD/DRB) or export (CBK, ETD, ETA, PUP, REW, and CGD), as applicable, in order to meet performance indicators.

    What you need to succeed 

    • Business English required 
    • Knowledge of U.S. Customs requirements, of Freight Forwarding / Supply Chain Logistics 
    • Ocean Freight Operations experience, LCL (preferred)
    • Understanding of carriers service and routing
    •  Understanding of the customer's current shipment, statistical and financial status (Credit) 
    • Must be detail oriented and accurate when processing documentation
    • Team player
    •  Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
