📦 Operations Management
- Supervise daily inbound, outbound, inventory, and order fulfillment processes.
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, accuracy, productivity, and storage utilization.
- Ensure compliance with client-specific service level agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate with transport teams to meet delivery schedules.
👷 Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse assistants, forklift operators, and support staff.
- Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and manage workload distribution.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety rules.
- Coach and train team members on warehouse processes and best practices.
📊 Inventory & System Accuracy
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and perform regular cycle counts.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and coordinate resolution.
- Maintain and update warehouse management systems (WMS) and ensure accurate documentation.
🛠️ Process Improvement
- Identify areas for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in implementing new systems or workflow changes.
⚠️ Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Report and investigate incidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in warehousing or contract logistics, including team leadership.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Cargowise).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, if required.
- Forklift certification (optional, based on facility requirements).
