Rotterdam Ahoy has renewed its contract with worldwide logistics service provider DB Schenker as its official fairs and exhibitions freight forwarder. The contract was signed December 2, 2022.
"The experience of DB Schenker as a service provider in fairs and exhibitions logistics – not only in the Netherlands but also globally – and their strategic view on business convinced us to renew this cooperation," says Jolanda Jansen, CEO Rotterdam Ahoy. "The logistics landscape around Ahoy has changed considerably together with the expansion of our accommodation: the new Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre (RACC) and RTM Stage. Moreover, sustainability in and around our venue is becoming more and more important. The mobility solutions offered by Schenker Logistics further optimize the logistics activities around Ahoy. We have confidence that Schenker Logistics as our strategic partner will proactively contribute and innovate."
