About Us Ocean Container Ship City

Starting from March 1, 2021, DB Schenker group will implement a new fuel surcharge index (BAF) calculation model for land transportation.

From now on, the fuel surcharge is going to be calculated in accordance with the monthly average diesel price index set by European Commission (EC) – https://ec.europa.eu/energy/observatory/reports/List-of-WOB.pdf

The fuel surcharge in percentage will be estimated on the last date of the month and will be applicable for the entire following calendar month.
