Key tasks & responsibilities
n Maintains application support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with
according to agreed procedures
n Prioritizes, diagnoses and resolve incidents using ITSM tool
n Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution
n Facilitates recovery, following resolution of incidents
n Documents and closes resolved incidents/service requests according to agreed procedures
n Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes, and
services
n Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures
n Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks
n "Go Live" support after introduction of new solutions
n Ensure proper communication to vendor Management
n Shift-based support model are required
n Strictly follow and comply with all the rules and regulation on DB Schenker Compliance Guideline.
Competencies & Skills Required
n Good written English and spoken English
n Willingness to learn, commitment to quality and can deal with complexity
zn Innovative thinking and customer services oriented
n Good communication skill and team working spirit
n Experience of Global Logistics IT application support, ITIL processes including incident
management, problem management and customer service support
n Experiences of mobile simulators, e.g.: Windows Mobile 6. * handling & testing is a plus
n Excellent consulting, interpersonal skills
n Able to work under pressure and time/shift constraints
n Knowledge in Webservices and database is required
n Knowledge in any of SSH/Putty/Telnet/Unix/Linux/Xml/Html/Jms/Xpath or Xquery/Java or Groovy Script/SQL is a plus
n Knowledge in air or ocean freight is an advantage
n Knowledge in any TMS/WMS/supply chain application is an advantage
Requirements
n Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in IT, general IT background is required
n Experience with ITIL Processes is an advantage
n Experience in the freight forwarding industry or in an operation's role, project management or freight system management
n Knowledge of Freight business process flows, and freight application business is a plus
n The position requires inter-cultural competence & global thinking
n Commitment on the service level agreement
n Language skills - fluency in English (written and spoken)
Requirements
Minimum IT College Degree (B.Tech/M.Tech) or equivalent experience with at least 6 years.
