ADR transport

Dangerous goods are solids, liquids, or gases that can harm people, other living organisms, property, or the environment.

According to International conventions (one for each mode of transport) dangerous goods are divided into 13 classes/types.

Dangerous goods classes

*Please note that the substances and products might have more than one hazard, therefore the packaging has to be marked with all of the necessary labels.

SIA Schenker offers transportation of dangerous goods for all types of hazardous substances with the exception of types No. 1, 6.2 and 7. Additionally a separate coordination transport is needed in cases when temperature control is required.

The appropriate classification and labeling of hazardous cargo is the responsibility of the Consignor. Each packaging containing the dangerous goods must be marked with the identification number of the substance (UN) and the appropriate hazard mark.

Additionally the completion of the declaration of hazardous cargo is the responsibility of Consignor.
