Mar 17, 2020 Announcement We will continue our operations (Air, Ocean, Logistics & Land) in all our branches and logistics sites in Malaysia.Please note that the Prime Minister of Malaysia Tan Sri Muhyiddin, announced Nationwide Movement Restrictions, which come into effect from March 18th until March 31st 2020. This control order is made under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and the Police Act 1967.We provide services which are classified under one of the “Essential Services”, which include “Transport Services by Land, Water or Air, Port operations, Airport services, Cargo handling and related services” and as such we are exempted from The Nationwide Movement Restrictions.For your easy reference, the Nationwide Movement Control Order includes:First, the general prohibition of mass movements and gatherings across the country including religious, sports, social and cultural activities. To enforce this prohibition, all houses of worship and business premises should be closed, except for supermarkets, public markets, grocery stores and convenience stores selling everyday necessities. Specifically, for Muslims, the adjournment of all religious activities in mosques and mosques including Friday prayers is in line with the decision of the Special Mental Health Committee meeting on March 15, 2020.Second, the sanctions cover all Malaysians traveling abroad.
