DB Schenker Singapore was recently featured alongside our customer, Applied Materials and partner, ACW logistics in Channel News Asia’s Becoming a Global Hub series.

In partnership with Quantum Technologies Global and Singapore Airlines, DB Schenker Singapore had charted a B747 freighter from Los Angeles to Singapore uplifting thousands of Quidel COVID-19 self-test kits.

With the shift towards the new normal of living with COVID-19, self-testing plays a key role in keeping our community and loved ones safe. In preparation for increased testing as part of Singapore’s preventive guidelines, Becton Dickinson has partnered with Schenker Singapore to bring more Antigen Rapid Tests (ARTs) into Singapore.

We are proud to announce that our Red Lion Project had won both SBR Technology Awards (Robotics) and SBR International Business Awards (Logistics). We are also the only company in history to have bagged both awards.

On the 27th of October, Schenker welcomed a high profile delegation from key government agencies: Ministry of Trade & Industry, Ministry of Manpower, Economic Development Board of Singapore (EDB) and Workforce Singapore, at our flagship facility, Red Lion.

Singapore has always held a prominent position in DB Schenker’s Asia strategy. Our new Red Lion facility was built at a cost of EUR 101m, which is the single largest investment in any site globally in Schenker’s corporate history spanning almost 150 years.
