Exports to Australia and New Zealand -Brown Marmorated Stink Bug 2020-2021 Season

In response to the rapid expansion of Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs (BMSB) throughout Europe and North America, the Department of Agriculture (Quarantine) has strengthened the seasonal measures to manage risk of BMSB from arriving by seafreight in Australia and New Zealand for the 2020 –2021 season.

For the 2020-21BMSB risk season, measures will apply to certain goods manufactured in, or shipped from target risk countries, and/or vessels that berth at, load or transship from target risk countries from September 1st, 2020and that arrive in Australian territory by May 31st, 2021,and from September 1st, 2020and that arrive in New Zealand territory by April 30th, 2021(inclusive).

Following announcements issued by our Co-Loaders, please be advised of the intended NEW fumigation fee for all Westbound cargo from US and Canada origins to all destinations in Australia and New Zealand with details as follows:
