DB Schenker USA announces new CEO: Jeffery Barrie

  • Barrie has held multiple international roles at DB Schenker since 2006
  • Over 25-years logistics industry experience

Miami, FL - October 1, 2018 – Leading global logistics provider DB Schenker has today appointed Jeffery Barrie as their Chief Executive Officer for the U.S.A. effective November 1, 2018.  Barrie will report into Philippe Gilbert, Region Americas CEO and will be responsible for all P&L aspects in the United States.

Barrie has over 25-years logistics industry experience and joined the DB Schenker team in 2006 when BAX Global was acquired by DB Schenker. He has moved quickly through the company’s ranks, and most recently served as DB Schenker’s Senior Vice President, Global Projects and Oil & Gas reporting to the board and Chief Operating Officer. Barrie has had global P&L responsibility for Projects and Oil & Gas business units, steered strategic efforts for sales, worldwide operations, quality, profit performance and product development. He has also had direct involvement in major client growth and business expansion in mature and emerging markets.
