    CBP Issues Cybersecurity Alert – Scammers Impersonating CBP Employees

    Recently, there have been instances of scammers posing as U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) employees and demanding payment or sensitive information. If you receive one of these calls, hang up and report the call to the Federal Trade Commission.

    CBP has provided guidance on how to identify these scams, what to do if you’re targeted, and ways to protect yourself. Please refer to their official announcement CSMS # 60040952 for full details.
