George Henry Appointed as New Head of Land for Region Americas at DB Schenker

Seasoned Logistics Executive to Spearhead Land Transport Operations with Two Decades of Industry Expertise

DB Schenker, a global leader in logistics services, is pleased to announce the appointment of George Henry as the new Head of Land for Region Americas. This strategic appointment comes at a time when DB Schenker is strengthening its operations and expanding its presence across the Americas.

George Henry, a seasoned professional with a rich background in logistics and transportation, will be taking over the reins from Joe Jaska, who has been instrumental in establishing DB Schenker's land transport services in North America after the acquisition of USA Truck. Joe Jaska has departed to pursue an opportunity outside DB Schenker, leaving behind a legacy of growth and integration.

Christian Drenthen, Member of the Board of Management for Land Transport for DB Schenker, commented on this transition, stating, "George's appointment is a testament to our commitment to fostering leadership talent within our organization. With his extensive experience and successful track record, particularly in integrating USA Truck into our operations, I am confident that George will drive our land transport services to new heights in the Americas. We thank Joe Jaska for his invaluable contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavors."

George Henry brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Raised in the United Kingdom and educated at the University of Wales St. David, George joined USA Truck in 2018. As DB Schenker’s Chief Operating Officer of trucking operations for Land USA, George played a pivotal role in the smooth integration of USA Truck following its acquisition by DB Schenker.
