Section 232 Investigation of Commercial Aircraft/Parts and Jet Engines/Parts

On May 1, 2025, the Secretary of Commerce initiated a Section 232 investigation to determine the effects on the national security of imports of commercial aircraft and jet engines, and parts for commercial aircraft and jet engines.

Interested parties are invited to submit written comments or information to the Bureau of Industry and Security. Comments may be made through the Regulations.gov portal with the ID number in the Federal Register notice: 2025-08500.pdf 

The deadline to comment is June 3, 2025.
