* The Gurantee shall be limited to a Money-Back-Promise: If the shipment is not delivered within the agreed lead time, DB Schenker shall therefore reimburse the net fee without surcharges paid by the customer to DB Schenker for specific shipment. Ancillary Fees

Due to rising traffic volumes, timely delivery and pick up is becoming increasingly difficult in metropolitan areas.

This leads to unavoidable cost increases. The situation is particularly critical in the Paris conurbation. The Paris city administration is increasingly restricting access to the city area.

In addition, vehicle bans frequently lead to further major restrictions. For quite some time now, these measures have complicated matters and increased the cost of delivering and picking up your consignments in Paris. We are therefore compelled to introduce a surcharge for deliveries and pick-ups in the Paris conurbation with effect from 1 August 2017.

The Paris city surcharge will apply to all postcodes starting with the following numbers: 75-, 77-, 78-, 91-, 92-, 93-, 94-, 95

Costs for petrol and diesel are becoming more and more subject to immense variabilities and thus they constitute an incalculable cost factor. At Schenker Deutschland AG fuel costs continue to constitute about 12 percent of the total haulage costs for general cargo/network transports. The percentage for part and complete loads is significantly higher.
