Branch Manager Land - Alava

Your tasks:

• Act as an ambassador to local communities & society
• Take ownership of the branch P&L
• Control revenue, cost and margins, ensure load capacity
• Ensure customer service and site performance    
• Manage the budget and financial result (EBIT) at the site
• Lead and encourage the team, both directly and indirectly
• Seek and promote collaboration within the Schenker network
• Vet replacements and recruit key staff within the site in collaboration with the functional and product managers
• Guide and support all the projects at the site in collaboration with the responsibles

Your profile:

• Diploma / Degree / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 
• Fluent Spanish. English is desirable
• Background in commercial and operational management, with expertise in land transport.

We are looking for you as a Branch Manager Land at DB Schenker in Alava, Spain. 

Role Mission

The branch manager is responsible for operational & commercial execution, respecting European & Cluster standards and rules (e.g., LSM). Next to directly steering all Land Transport functions on branch level, the branch manager is managing interactions with P&O, Finance and IT (where applicable).
