Supervisor - Contract Logistics/SCM, Operations (3 of 4)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the department's operations
• Business requirements from order fulfilment, delivery timelines, inventory integrity, record and documentations
• Training and development of staffs ensuring job compliance, discipline and quality work output from staff
• Preparation of management KPIs for timely reporting and management review
• Meetings with customers
• Handle day to day operational, safety and quality issues
• Assign tasks to staff and scheduling
• Overall management of the logistics administration and documentation
• Any other assigned duties in the warehouse as instructed by superior
  
  Specific Accountabilities
  • Approval of annual leave
  • Hire and terminate staff
  • Hands-on experience in storekeeping will be an added advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to deal with all levels of people
  • Able to perform work with minimal supervision
  • Accuracy and speed in performing daily activities

• Minimum in Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in logistics, contract logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation management.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on detail and efficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
