What will you be doing?
As a working foreman/woman, you will combine coordinating responsibilities with actively participating in operations. You will have a visible presence on the work floor and know how to inspire and support colleagues.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Daily management of the team and optimal deployment of people and resources.
- Motivating, guiding and coaching colleagues to achieve the set goals together.
- Acting as a technical point of contact and providing direct support for questions and challenges.
- Monitoring productivity and progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Replacing other Coordinators or the Team Leader in their absence.
- Identifying deviations in the process and taking immediate action where necessary.
- Actively contributing ideas for process improvements and helping to implement them.
- Participating in the operation yourself to stay in touch with the work and the team.
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you need a combination of professional knowledge, leadership qualities and the ability to maintain an overview.
- At least MBO working and thinking level and knowledge of logistics processes
- Leadership qualities: taking responsibility, showing initiative, being confident and daring to address colleagues
- Ability to work in a structured, systematic and accurate manner
- Proficiency with systems and good numerical insight
- Good communication skills in both Dutch and English
