    Your tasks

    • Subject matter expert on Schenker's global digital solutions offerings; provide business and technical expertise to digital solution projects and other initiatives
    • Consult and align with internal business and IT partners on the GILDS product portfolio to exchange knowledge, identity new project opportunities and establish a strategic plan for customer integrations during new country rollouts
    • Provide digital solutions portfolio knowledge to optimize customer interactions with Schenker via multiple channels and drive internal global collaboration
    • Customer integration consultancy: Provide customer integration consultancy to internal stakeholder teams in order to support the European rollout of the strategic land transport management system
    • Explain any technical issues or open questions to business customer and customer integration team
    • Contribute to implementation of new customer setup solutions (e.g. feasibility studies / pilots / prototyping)
    • Consulted in demand & solution management and support & test management actions as well as training and documentation
    • Supplier relationship management
    • Communication management with all involved parties and stakeholders
    • Analyze and evaluate business requirements and review of options with customers, business units, and end users to ensure best customer integration solution
    • Compile and elaborate functional and non-functional requirements
    • Understand and take business needs and requirements and refine and transform them into IT solutions and collaborate in the definition of acceptance criteria for the IT solution
    • Document and communicate all open issues or open questions about business processes or procedures to the team

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in business process management and/or business process analysis
    • Process or workflow modeling tool experience
    • Strong business, system and customer service orientation
    • Good understanding of project and application life cycles and work in an agile delivery model
    • Good knowledge of formalized methods for specification (e.g. Use Case Modelling, Data Modelling, Interfaces)
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across diverse organizations, groups and functions
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Customer and service orientation
    • Experience in identifying process improvements, customer solutioning and coordinating their implementation
    • International experience in customer projects and service & solution management
    • Understanding of business and IT processes
    • Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment
    • Team player
    • Fluent Business English (written and spoken)

    Our offer

    The Solution Manager within the Business Unit "GILDS" acts as Subject Matter Expert on Schenker's global digital solutions portfolio. As a member of an agile team with the Market & Connectivity Ecosystem division, the Solution Manager supports and guides the customer setup interactions and is voice and ear towards the customer integration team.
    The Solution Manager guides and assists the customer integration team while interacting with the global digital solutions portfolio of applications, identifies improvement potentials and triggers changes. This includes concepting, prioritizing and implementation of setups with features and improvements.
