We save this data to track (potential) abuse of your email address and for our own legal protection. When you set up a user profile, you may give us and/or we may collect automatically the following personal data:
First name or forename, last name or surname, age, gender, company, company address, country, email address, telephone number, facsimile or fax number, preferred language, contact person at DB Schenker, IP address, device(s) used, pages visited, time spent on our websites, category for consultation, selection of publications to receive, consents to receive, subscribe, unsubscribe, date last updated preferences, date unsubscribed, and comments.
We may also store information that you provide through communications to us, including from phone calls, letters, emails and other electronic messages, or in person.
To continuously improve our offerings, we save and analyze usage data from the online area on a pseudonymized basis. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
To the extent that we request consent to process your personal data, it serves as the legal basis according to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
For processing of personal data required to fulfill a contract with you, the contract is the legal basis according to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also apples to processing operations that are required to execute preliminary measures, for example, if you ask about our products or services.
If our company is subject to legal demands that require us to process personal data, for example, to fulfill tax responsibilities, then processing is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose for which they were collected (e.g. within the framework of a contractual relationship) and further for any period of time for which we must retain this data to meet legal requirements.
