- Lead a team to manage daily logistics operations and distribution systems, focusing on people, process, system, productivity, quality, reliability, and cost management.
- Maintain good liaison with government regulatory and related organizations regarding import/export/re-export rules and regulations, ensuring all parties within the company are well informed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing orders, shipment plans, and lead time, ensuring timely handling and accurate documentation.
- Develop and maintain a good sub-contract management system and harmonious relationships with sub-contractors.
- Track and address any shipment irregularities or non-conformance issues.
- Foster teamwork culture, motivate team spirit, and maintain high morale to increase productivity and communication.
- Continuously seek improvement opportunities within the value chain to streamline processes and achieve service standards.
- Ensure health and safety measures are in place at the Logistics Center and branch offices.
- Monitor department budgetary control, resource allocation, and financial cost application.
- Review team performance, address complaints, identify solutions, and implement continuous improvement measures.
- Analyze reports on operational performance and field discrepancies.
- Propose plans or ideas for operation and process improvement to superiors.
- Provide on-the-job training to individual staff to improve work performance and productivity.
- Deploy and complete special assignments at the instructions of the Logistics Manager/General Manager.
- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum five years' work experience in the logistics and transportation industry.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is an advantage.
- Service-oriented, with leadership, good interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving targets for inventory accuracy, quality, safety regulations, and health strategies of the warehouse with zero accident rate. Full compliance with SOP and KPI.
