Fuel prices are currently rising extremely rapidly. All transport companies are affected by the price increase, especially local carriers. In order to maintain an efficient network of partners, we are speeding up the process of setting fuel surcharge levels and continuing to pay more up-to-date fuel surcharges to our carriers.

DB Schenker extensively welcomes the implementation of the new EU Mobility Package that is meant to more effectively balance the objectives of safety, social fairness, sustainability, and economy in the European land transport system.
In Finland, we constantly invest in personnel, sustainable logistics properties and equipment, and IT solutions. To cover these, among other things, and the effects of inflation, we will update the land transport prices on October 1, 2021.

We continue to simplify the structure of DB Schenker's land transportation invoices for fuel shares. Next up are European land transports, where we will switch to use a single fuel element on July 1, 2021.
