The new center with a 3,507 square meters platform is one of six branches that DB Schenker opens in 2020 in France. The logistic provider has defined a real estate investment plan of 200 million euros over 5 years, from 2018 to 2022, in France and in the French overseas departments. This investment reflects the strong commitment of DB Schenker to continue the expansion in France and the European network.Pascal Trouvé, Director of the new terminal in Bourges says: “We will work in optimal conditions and offer better services to our customers. The new building has a land reserve of 1000 m² for building extension”.DB Schenker integrates the environmental aspect into its real estate investments in order to reduce its ecological footprint. Bourges terminal is already equipped with LED lighting, solar panels and tanks for rainwater recovery. A wooded area will be conserved on the area to promote biodiversity.
