What will you be doing? 

As a working foreman/woman, you will combine coordinating responsibilities with actively participating in operations. You will have a visible presence on the work floor and know how to inspire and support colleagues.  

Your tasks and responsibilities will include: 

  • Daily management of the team and optimal deployment of people and resources. 
  • Motivating, guiding and coaching colleagues to achieve the set goals together. 
  • Acting as a technical point of contact and providing direct support for questions and challenges. 
  • Monitoring productivity and progress to ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Replacing other Coordinators or the Team Leader in their absence.
  • Identifying deviations in the process and taking immediate action where necessary.
  • Actively contributing ideas for process improvements and helping to implement them.
  • Participating in the operation yourself to stay in touch with the work and the team.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you need a combination of professional knowledge, leadership qualities and the ability to maintain an overview.  

  • At least MBO working and thinking level and knowledge of logistics processes
  • Leadership qualities: taking responsibility, showing initiative, being confident and daring to address colleagues
  • Ability to work in a structured, systematic and accurate manner
  • Proficiency with systems and good numerical insight
  • Good communication skills in both Dutch and English

This will give you the opportunity to further develop your leadership and coordination skills in a dynamic environment.
