Tax Specialist

* Prepare quarterly Corporate Income Tax (CIT) provisional reports and the annual CIT finalization return
 * Ensure proper calculation of deductible and non-deductible expenses in line with local tax regulations
 * Calculate CIT provisions monthly for financial reporting purposes
 * Identify and calculate deferred tax assets and liabilities
 * Prepare and submit monthly Value-Added Tax (VAT) returns
 * Ensure compliance with VAT regulations for different types of transactions (e.g., 0%, standard rate)
 * Review VAT invoices to ensure they meet VAT requirements
 * Handle adjustment minutes to comply with VAT invoice regulations and requirements.
 * Respond to VAT-related inquiries from authorities
 * Review service contracts with foreign vendors to determine FCT applicability
 * Calculate and withhold appropriate Foreign Contractor Tax  (FCT) rates (VAT and CIT components)
 * File monthly FCT declarations and ensure timely payment to the tax authority
 * Reconcile tax reports with accounting records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
 * Work with SAP software to extract data for tax reporting and ensure proper tax configuration in the system.
 * Track and ensure timely payment of all tax liabilities, avoiding penalties and interest.
* Provide tax advisory support to internal departments on transactions, contracts, or new business activities.

Experiences & Qualifications

• Having Bachelor’s degree
• At least 6 years’ experience with a similar position. Experience in Logistics/Freight Forwarding is an advantage.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and SAP software.
• Being able to work under pressure.
• Being good with figures, detail-oriented, responsible, careful, and a good team player
• Fast learner
• Good at time management, interpersonal & collaboration skills.
