Purpose Leads the sub-function "Quality Control" functionally and disciplinary in the TSC Americas, to plan, execute and report risk based IT solution testing Main Tasks * Speaking partner for other functional managers and topic owners in HR issues. * Working and aligning with major project leads and service manager of the ITM Land domain * Responsible for implementing the TSC strategy in his responsibility area * Collaborative alignment with all TSC function and sub-function leads * Supports General Manager in establishing and maintains good relations with relevant stakeholders * Supporting and implementing the global TSC and SQ partner strategy * Responsible for employment and development process with the support of a local HR and local managers * Managing capacity in relation to demands and partner expectations in a cost-efficient way * Steering and communicate risk based testing approach and manage constraints and partner expectation * Provisioning and evolvement TSC Test Management according to global binding IT standards * Adherence to thresholds of all TSC Solution Quality KPIs in area of responsivity * Aligning and monitoring appropriate TSC Solution Quality related KPIs and corresponding controls * Driving Process Standardization and ensure the implementation of Schenker Test Management foundation guidelines * Driving standardized Tool chain Implementation based on global defined TSC standards * Actively participation in Schenker’s Global Test Management Profession group * Steering and coordination of resource and skill management in the sub function Solution Quality in Americas * Creates a partner oriented organizational culture * Efficient and effective resource steering and management * Monitors staff performance including performance reviews * Supports local continuous improvement and efficiency growth · Implement and ensure Schenker IT compliance rules
Requirements * Demonstrates drive, confidence, risk taking and good partner handling skills * Strong communication & negotiating and intercultural skills * Independent & able to work with minimum supervision * Distinctive administration skills * (Must) Strong IT Test Management know-how and experience * (Must) Deep Knowledge about ISTQB Best Practices, Schenker (Transportation) business model and IT domains in area of responsibility * (Desirable) Experiences with COBIT and ITIL * Knowledge and experience in different Software Development methodologies like SCRUM, KANBAN but also with V-Model organized setup * Personality profile: integrity, initiative & commitment, self-reliance, flexibility, ability to work under high pressure, integrative, persistency, assertiveness * Languages: Fluent in English, oral & written (must), fluent in German, oral & written (desirable) * Knowledge in technology and concepts of Test Automation, experience in RobotFramework or similar is beneficial * Familiar with state of the art Test Management Tools like HPQC, TestRail e.g. * Programming skill would be beneficial * Minimum Master degree in IT or related disciplines * Minimum 6+ years of relevant working experience (on managerial position) * Experience of working in an Intercultural environment, within area of responsibility (must), outside / globally (ideally) * Ideally experience with complex global IT environments / different service operation model (CLOUD, SaaS, on-premise, etc.) and their challenges in agile and les agile environments * Experience in workshop facilitation and management experience in financial management (budget, actuals, invest requests
