Logistics for automotive manufacturers and distributors of spare parts
DB Schenker in Poland continues development of cooperation with the automotive industry and opened a spare parts warehouse in Poznan for its new customer.
Nissens is one of the world's largest producers of coolers and components of thermal systems for automotive industry. For years, Nissens Automotive has invested heavily in the research and development of components for engine cooling and air conditioning systems. In this scope of the market the company offers complete range of products that covers as many as 97% of passenger cars, vans and trucks traveling on the roads.
The Danish company runs its European logistics center in Horsens, Denmark. DB Schenker in Poland launched in April 2019 regional warehouse center for Nissens in Poznań, which is to serve 12 Eastern European markets. One of the basic criteria for choosing a logistics operator was to ensure excellent quality of logistics and high timeliness of deliveries to final recipients in Central and Eastern Europe.

The new warehouse is rented by DB Schenker at the Panattoni Park Poznań VIII logistics park. As part of cooperation with NISSENS Automotive, DB Schenker is responsible for the storage of products and the implementation of value added services, eg. labeling and packaging.
