DB Schenker in eight new countries

We are launching eight new operations in the Caucasus and Central Asia - an area of enormous development potential. The region serves as an economic bridge between Asia and Europe.
̶ These countries offer tremendous opportunities that we want to integrate into our global network. Through our local presence, we can give our customers a worldwide network, says Jochen Thewes, CEO at DB Schenker.

The operations in Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will be run by DB Schenker. The first step is being taken in Kazakhstan where our own organization is already in place and will be integrated into our network as early as January 2020. The next step will be taken in Azerbaijan where a local partner will be integrated within the next two months.
