Position Description Summary: 

This position resides within a rapidly growing insurance brokerage team which serves as a direct link between DB Schenker and its customers, insurers and brokers to include, but not limited to, the Principal Accountabilities listed below as well as renewal of marine, bonds and inland marine insurance, maintaining customer relationships, providing support and serving as a point of contact for existing insurance inquiries. 


  • Review & Process insurance renewals for expiring policies for all lines of insurance coverage
  • Provide Customer Service support to Insureds for policy explanation, endorsements to existing policies, finance agreements, etc.
  • Work with Producers to bind, revise and add endorsements
  • Enter and maintain policy information and validate account data in Vertafore/AMS360
  • Create and manage Acord applications and forms using AMS360 for distribution to insurers, brokerages and customers 
  • Customer accounts receivable and payable.
  • Liaise with insurers and wholesalers regarding policy endorsement requests and remarkets
  • Create and manage Renewal Lists using AMS360 for Renewal Process with insurers, brokerages and customers

Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):

  • Bachelor’s degree with/or 1 to 3 years equivalent work experience within the insurance brokerage industry
  • Applicants should be knowledgeable with insurance lines i.e. ocean marine, motor truck cargo, general liability, commercial auto and other lines of coverage
  • Excellent customer service skills and detailed oriented 
  • Proficiency with MS office applications. 


We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary ranging from $59,331.00k - $81,400k annually and a comprehensive benefits package. Our benefits package includes paid time off and paid sick time in the first year, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, disability insurance, and more as described in our benefits guide. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, performance, geography, and internal equity.  Benefits may be subject to waiting periods and other terms and conditions.
