Technician Demo Depot

Main activities

• Managing and tracking inventory of demo devices, ensuring stock levels are accurate
• Preparing products for shipment or returning items to inventory after demos are completed
• Handling incoming requests for demo devices, organizing shipments, and ensuring timely delivery to clients
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all required devices are available and prepared on time
• Performing diagnostics and quality assurance checks to ensure devices meet required performance standards
• Configuring and setting up devices such as laptops, tablets, desktops, servers, and other electronic equipment.
• Supporting logistics efforts by helping with the packing, labelling, and dispatch of demo devices
• Interacting with clients to confirm device requirements, ensuring that demo units are set up as per their specific needs
• Providing support and addressing any concerns or technical issues the customer may have with demo units

• Willingness to work flexible hours and during weekends As mentioned above, you will need some specific technical skills and knowledge in this position. We will offer training for this. We are looking for the following technical skills:
• Advanced PC building skills including OS installation and customization (advanced familiarity with Microsoft operating systems preferably also Android / iOS/ Linux)
• Server building skills including OS installation and customization (advanced familiarity with Microsoft operating systems preferably also Linux)
• Experience with disk imaging tools such as Symantec Ghost,Clonezilla etc.
• eSports gaming installation, setup and configuration knowledge
• Knowledge of current Intel products NUC, Server and Mobile)
• Basic understanding of scripting languages (Python, Powershell, etc)
• Basic understanding of network topologies, protocols, standards and domain network environments

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Demo Depot Technician to join our technical logistics department. This role plays a vital part in supporting the Demo Depot activities by managing various client requests and ensuring the preparation of tech devices for distribution. You will be responsible for handling the end-to-end process of preparing and testing laptops and devices that will be sent out as demo pieces to current and potential clients. The primary goal is to ensure that these devices are in flawless condition before being shipped, representing our client’s high standards. Technical knowledge and skills are a must for this position.
