Warehouse Team Leader
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8 hrs between 0600-1800 subject to requirements)
Location: Slough ( SL1 4SS)
Are you ready to lead a team and ensure accurate and efficient product throughput in a highly secure environment? We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader in Slough who can drive best practices, meet targets, and uphold high standards in line with operational, contractual, and legal requirements
What Will You Be Doing?
- Ensure all activities comply with current legislation, company policies, procedures, and contract practices
- Follow correct Manual Handling procedures to move stock
- Handle and complete all necessary documentation and information accurately
- Adhere to and maintain Service Level Agreements
- Operate company equipment safely and in accordance with policies and legislation
- Attend and complete required training, including First Aid and Fire Marshall training
- Assist in producing reports and documentation packs for the site
- Help maintain contract KPIs.
- Understand and meet customer needs efficiently and cost-effectively
- Contribute to effective service levels while adhering to QSHE standards
- Supervise a small team of warehouse operatives
About You
- Experience as a warehouse operator, team leader or supervisor in a logistics environment
- Flexible and proactive approach with a desire to exceed operational objectives
- Team player willing to contribute positively to the group
- Ability to drive Manual Handling Equipment or willingness to learn
