Engineering:
Manage and develop solution reengineering initiatives for existing customers
Handle nominated projects/tasks from operations and contract renewals
Create and follow a scheduling plan to ensure timely execution of engineering tasks
Renewals:
Conduct regular reviews of existing operations based on the renewal schedule
Lead efforts in process and/or storage reengineering for contract renewals
Deploy detailed engineering project plans where necessary
Automation:
Assess feasibility and opportunities to utilize or expand automation, robotics, and new technologies
Improve productivity in operational activities such as Inbound, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Outbound, and VAS
Screen and evaluate automation projects; apply strategic imperatives to drive innovation in key operations
Evaluate the application of automation/robotization in both new and existing customer projects
New Business Support:
Assist in identifying new business or growth opportunities involving automation
Conduct technology checks to support automation feasibility and implementation in potential new operations
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or Automation & Mechatronics Engineering
Postgraduate degree is an advantage
Related Experience
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Logistics, Warehousing, or 3PL industries, preferably in an international logistics service environment
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in solution design, automation, or process engineering in the logistics and supply chain industry
Knowledge of 3PL is a plus
Experience in modern warehouse and distribution setup, supply chain design, and innovations such as automation, robotics, and digitalization is preferred
Experience with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and/or Six Sigma is a plus
Technical Skills
Strong analytical skills with a sound commercial and technical understanding of Contract Logistics and Warehousing
Excellent knowledge and/or extensive experience in logistics automation methods and techniques
Familiarity with operative IT systems/WMS, and experience with automation implementation or automated logistics systems is an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially:
Excel (VBA, VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
PowerPoint
Other Microsoft 365 apps such as Visio, Stream, and Power BI is a plus
Practical experience with AutoCAD
Experience with CLASS, SketchUp, or other supply chain design tools/software is a plus
Strong knowledge in warehouse solution design; capable of developing operationally feasible solutions based on customer requirements

Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Asian language(s) is beneficial

Strong intercultural skills; prior international work experience is preferred
Travel Requirements
Willing and able to travel nationwide and regionally/internationally for projects as needed (approximately <20% travel)
