Your tasks
- Manage Export and Import Processes: As a customs clearance officer, you'll oversee the export and import procedures. This involves coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations, and selecting the most cost-effective logistics routes.
- Inspection and Search: You'll supervise the inspection of the cargo through the filled in-house Customs Brockers, baggage, and individuals to prevent the smuggling of illegal items such as drugs, weapons, and contraband. Vigilance is crucial to maintaining security and safety.
- Document Verification: Part of your role includes verifying the authenticity of documents, including an invoice packing list , COO , and cargo manifests. This ensures compliance with national and international laws.
- Customer Services : Your role to give proper and timely updates to the internal business unit and arrange the delivery and updated PODs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Has at least 3 years of experience in the related field.
- Saudi market expertise and good knowledge of Saudi customs rules.
