Fuel adjustment in road transport
The fuel adjustment is a formula for the automatic modification of the remuneration of a logistics operator for transport services performed, in accordance with changes in diesel fuel prices that are beyond the operator’s control.
As of June 29, 2026, a new fuel adjustment model applied by Schenker has come into force.
New fuel adjustment model (also referred to as the Fuel Clause 2026) applies to:
- new contracts concluded from June 29, 2026 onward,
- as well as to contracts for which the new fuel adjustment model has been implemented by mutual agreement of the Parties.
Previous fuel adjustment model
The fuel adjustment applicable to contracts concluded before June 29, 2026, for which the Fuel Clause 2026 has not been implemented by agreement of the Parties.
