The Role

We are seeking National Operations Manager with a focus to oversee operations across Australia and New Zealand. You will have the best of both worlds, autonomy and in a team environment. You will be trusted to bring your leadership skills all while being supported so that you can achieve your goals.
Role Highlights
- Oversee the operations in VIC, SA, WA, QLD, NSW and NZ.
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all contracted deliverable requirements for the accounts under your responsibility
- Developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing specific procedures and protocols to ensure the security of customer inventory and property up to and including handover to contracted carriers
- Monitoring projects assessing potential problem areas and coordinating solutions with function managers.
- Direct, monitor and manage the activities of supervisors/team leaders in the management functions to extend individual skills and achieve overall objectives.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure the warehouses operate within budget and at peak efficiency by supervising, organising, training warehouse employees, establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Apply operational excellence
- Identify and drive Continuous Improvement
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement capability both internal and external
- Strong Customer Account Management capability.
Ideally you should have:
- 2-3 years of experience in the logistics industry
- A strong track record of building and maintaining customer relationships
- A good understanding of logistics operations requirements
- Proficiency in specific Warehouse Management Systems
- Excellent computer skills
- A solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety requirements
- Awareness of current logistics systems, materials handling equipment, and providers
