Product Specialist, Intra-Asia

Key KPIs:

• Assist the General Manager to ensure long term RFQs are competitively priced, ensuring above market level growth, aiming to maximize the profit for DSV.

Responsibilities:

• Control the intra APAC multi country RFQs from FCL product/pricing perspective 
• Ensure timely and correct response to RFQs
• Provide market knowledge and value added information which can be presented along our RFQ replies 
• Close communication with tender management team as well as commercial team
• Optimize and ensure procurement process efficiency
• Prepare the minimum selling rate guidelines (e.g. MSRs) to Country Product as basis for MSR definition
• Align with COPT team on APAC core carrier selection
• Support the cargo steering
• Perform Pricing analysis to ensure all RFQs are quoted with profit
• Monitor APAC core carrier utilization on country level 
• Represent DSV APAC in carrier and customer meetings
• Carrier management relationship building and maintenance 
• Adherence to the code of conduct policy of DSV Group

Qualifications:

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of IMO rules and regulations
• Ability forecast and budget for growth on trade lane
• Orchestra the negotiation of both NACS, bundles and FAKs
• Market and industry knowledge
• Structuring tasks

Education & Training:

• Degree in logistics

Experience:

• 5+ years in Intra-Asia sea freight procurement management
• Operational experience would be beneficial
• Experience in tariff management and tender management

Personal Characteristics:

• Be able to explain complicated industry language to non- industry people
• Team player
• Processing details
