What will be your challenges?
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 7 operational staff.
- Oversee air freight processes: deconsolidation, tracking, arrival reports, and manifest creation.
- Ensure compliance with GDP, ISO 9001, and OEA standards.
- Follow up on operational incidents: damaged, lost cargo, and claims.
- Prepare performance reports, KPIs, and results for management.
- Monitor freight rate compliance and monthly financial closing.
- Maintain communication with clients, vendors, and international agents.
- Train staff, delegate tasks, and monitor execution.
- Coordinate special services such as DDP, DDU, returns, and transshipments.
- Manage operational expenses and revenue.
- Handle billing, documentation, and system updates.
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
- Business English required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Air Freight Operations, handling import/export documentation, international regulations, INCOTERMS, and specialized cargo (hazardous, perishable).
- Availability for rotating and night shifts, and 24/7 emergency support.
- Results-oriented, dynamic, responsible, and with strong leadership skills.
- Highly organized, autonomous, process-driven, and able to work under pressure
