3D Visual and Warehouse Design Associate II

     3D Visualizer Tasks:

·         Warehouse Design: Utilize SketchUp software to create detailed and accurate 3D models of warehouse layouts, including shelving, storage systems, aisles, and equipment placement.

·         Space Optimization: Maximize the use of available space by designing efficient storage solutions, considering factors like inventory volume, traffic flow, and safety regulations.

·         Visualization: Produce realistic 3D renderings and visualizations of warehouse designs to help stakeholders visualize the proposed layouts effectively.

·         Create sequences by animating our products, props, and cameras.

·         Use motion blur, depth of field, and other effects to simulate real cameras.

·         Research and source imagery, music, and any third-party content needed to support projects.

·         Produce high-quality architectural and exhibition renderings at various scales, including lighting, textures, atmospheric effects, and engaged with internal requestor.

·         Create logical and thoughtful product layouts and plan-o-grams for the multitude of display types based on the client objectives.

·         Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and solution design team to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into the design process.

·         Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including 3D Layout and specifications, to guide the construction and implementation of warehouse designs.

·         Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance warehouse design processes continually.

·         Monthly Business Review slides

·         Performs other duties as assigned by direct superiors and managers.

•         Daily Huddle board updates

3D Visualizer Deliverables: 

• Fully animated fly-through video
• Ensure consistency in look-and-feel (DB Schenker logo, …) with possible regional variation – strong alignment with HO team
• Development of Object database for fast and consistent model build-up, Workflow excellence and documentation thereof
• Possibly training of workflow excellence to selective SD counterparts in regional teams who might conduct last minute edits

Secondary Qualifications:

•                   Studied Industrial or Logistic Engineering

• •                   Basic knowledge of Warehouse layout and warehouse processes

  •                   Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software

  •                   2-3years minimum experience in using SketchUp or any other relevant 3D rendering tool (optional)

• Strong service orientated mind set Basic to advance knowledge of the following softwares:
• SketchUp, Enscape, Vray, Unreal Engine/Twin Motion, D5 Renderer, and Capcut.
