R2R Junior Accountant - fixed term (6 months)

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting and/or legal entity (statistical/statutory) reporting activities to ensure all entries are recorded;
• Perform asset accounting and period control procedures;
• Perform verification and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts (incl. compliance controls);
• Participate in internal and external audit procedures;
• Ensure assigned tasks are performed efficiently and in a professional manner;
• Perform according to Service Level Agreement (SLA);
• Analyzing financial reports and records;
• Ensure accuracy of postings;
• Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team;
• Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments;
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality;
• Performs other duties as assigned by direct superiors and managers.

Qualifications:

• Ongoing or finished studies in finance, mathematics, statistics (or related discipline);
• Relevant and/or similar work experience within accounting field;  
• Must meet at least one of listed requirements:
• Good Excel knowledge;
• Experience with SAP, HFM;
• Experience with Power BI;
• Service Now application knowledge;
• Willingness to learn;
• Proven team player;
• Client oriented;
• Co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization;
• Very good English language skills.
