USA Truck Rotational Trainee Program

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Rotational Trainee Program is an entry level program where individuals will spend time (rotations) in multiple departments. The Program’s objective is to provide participants with exposure to multiple aspects of business operations, gain comprehensive insight, and to prepare for future opportunities within the Company.

 

We are currently accepting applications and will start the interview process the week of March 16^th.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This program will involve rotational positions in a variety of departments. While a Trainee’s responsibilities will be different based on the rotation they are in, responsibilities may include:

• Answering and handling phone calls with both internal and external customers
• Responsible for timely identification and coaching of Driver safety compliance issues including Hours of Service violations
• Monitor pickups and deliveries for service failures and proactively alert the necessary parties when a load is in jeopardy of failing
• Meet empty percentage goal for assigned market of responsibility
• Ensure customer service is met through repowering, relaying or rescheduling freight
• Develop a working knowledge of a strategic carrier capacity and network
• Support and assist account managers through timely order entry and appointment scheduling
• Maintain strategic relationships with multiple clients using negotiations
• Provide exceptional customer service to continually strengthen relationships with existing customers
• Other rotations as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma required
• Able to prioritize and work multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with both internal and external

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred
• Ability to manage multiple and diverse customer relationships
• Ability to negotiate under difficult circumstances both internally and externally
• Proficiently in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams
