Meet Piushi Agrawal, ABAP Consultant at TSC India

For Piushi, one thing that fascinates her about working in IT is “we can see the added value of our project after the implementation”. It is the interrelationship that it has with business which has influenced Piushi a lot to pursue her career goal in technology. Discover, Meet, and Read more about our next #WomeninIT.

Piushi, share a bit about your academic background and the beginning of your IT career?

I’m an IT enthusiast and have around 8 years of work experience in the field. Soon after completion of my Master’s in Computer Applications from Kalyani Govt. Engineering College, I got campus placement and have worked with companies like Capgemini, HCL, and Sopra Steria. Working in IT means we can see the added value of our project after the implementation. Women in IT are amazing, and this is a very beautiful and rewarding career.

…And about your current stint at TSC India

I always aspired to work in warehouse management projects and luckily, I got the opportunity to join DB Schenker Technology Solution Center and explore more about it

I’m currently working in the SAP team as a technical consultant on the apple project. My work profile includes support as well as the implementation of the project.

Great and how about the work culture here?

The culture is employee friendly. There is a work-life balance which keeps us motivated.  I joined the company in WFH mode, but with the right support of my colleagues, I was able to kick start my journey with TSC smoothly.

One memorable experience with the company till now…

I got the opportunity to visit the warehouse in Mumbai with other colleagues. It was a great experience to see things practical, the processes and how IT plays an important role in the logistics business.

What do you like doing in your leisure time?

I am a movie person, so I watch a lot of them. Apart from that, I have learnt driving, so I keep practising it as and when I get the chance to do so…

How about your future career aspirations?

I aspire to grow and learn a lot through working on projects related to the Solution Architect profile.

What advice would you have for a woman who wants to succeed in IT?

The world is changing very rapidly, especially the tech world. To succeed we need to be a part of the changing world, and, for that, we need to keep learning every day.
Be passionate about your dreams and don’t get disheartened if success does not come your way. Today or tomorrow, it will though.

Thank you Piushi, for sharing your story.

We wish you a lot of success in your professional role with us. Good luck!
