Implant Coordinator Freight Forwarding - Qantas Onsite

About the Role

As an Implant Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing both import and export

airfreight processes. You’ll ensure timely and compliant cargo handling, coordinate with

internal and external stakeholders, and maintain high standards of accuracy and service

delivery.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare run sheets for Direct AWB terminal collection (Imports) and coordinate with
• driver to arrange collection.
• Updating Milestones for POD and noting any expectations to add Quality control
• Events (QCT) in Tango system.
• Ensuring Import Freight is customs cleared before delivering freight.
• Assisting to locate the misplaced cargo tracing with terminals/customers warehouse
• and Schenker warehouse.
• Attend QF daily operation meeting - providing stats on import and export
• shipments.
• Follow up with customs held import shipments with brokers when required.
• Chase customer for additional clearance information required.
• Arrange DAFF inspection booking with brokers or external DAFF depots for cargo
• required inspection.
• Handling Export registration and EDN's
• Negotiating with airlines to ensure we get the best rates.
• Arrange airline booking with carriers in lie with customs service requirements E.G
• Routine, Critical and AOG.
• Email Export pre alert documents as required to destination offices.
• Coordinate with driver to lodge export cargo daily.
• Ensuring we accurately and timely lodge daily export cargo.
• Ensuring accurate cost reserving for terminal fees and airline fees on each shipment.
• Respond to all incoming email within a reasonable time.
• Labelling all courier export shipments collected by UPS.
• Assist with AOG Desk with Air Export request such as completing registrations,
• Carrier booking and transport courier bookings.
• Ability to learn different systems used.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in Customer Service
• 2-3 Years of Industry Experience
• Experience in TANGO or Cargowise System is preferrable but not required
• Willing to work fully onsite
• With good verbal and oral communication skills
