Both hubs are TAPA A compliant • Another important milestone to expand land distribution services in Vietnam
DB Schenker is pleased to announce the opening of two dedicated Land Transportation Hubs in Northern and Southern Vietnam, providing the highest level of service and security for its customers.
The DB Schenker Land Transportation Hubs are fully TAPA A compliant. They come equipped with security cages, motion sensors, PE beams, and 24/7 security guards on site.
Country CEO for Vietnam, said: “Security is a big topic in Vietnam. We see a very high demand for safe land transport. This is especially important for tech companies with high-value cargo. But our land hub services are also available to other customers. Every business, big or small, needs to be confident that its cargo is secure 24/7. I am very pleased we now address this urgent need for safe and professional land transportation with our investments in the new land hubs.”
Head of Land for Vietnam and Southeast Asia, commented: “The two Land Transportation Hubs allow us to significantly expand our services with the aim of becoming the leading land provider in Vietnam. Our team will offer a full package of services, including LTL, first-mile pickup, final-mile delivery across Vietnam, and multimodal transfer of cargo from the South to the North. For example, we offer a Land – Air or a Land – Ocean solution instead of opting for Land transport only, if that’s more efficient.”
DB Schenker’s Land Hub services include consolidation and deconsolidation, x-dock, short-term, and high-security storage. The hub’s scanning equipment is fully integrated with DB Schenker’s TMS system, providing full supply chain visibility.
