Solution Design Manager

Design implementable, profitable warehouse solutions for RFQs and renewals—covering process, layout, resources and cost. Partner with Sales, Operations, IT and Automation to run peer reviews, meet MIRR/EBIT targets and lead a clean implementation handover

• Analyze RFQ/RFP data; define storage media, flows and resource models.
• Create warehouse layouts (racking, staging, MHE); model capacity & throughput.
• Build cost models and pricing; log assumptions and risks.
• Prepare proposals (PPT); present to internal teams and customers.
• Run peer/ops reviews; finalize solution packs and handover plans.
• Assess WMS fit; consider automation options (AMR/ASRS/sorters).
• Support site surveys, time & motion studies and data cleansing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or related
• More than 3 years of relevant working experience in the logistics and supply chain industry
• Experience in modern warehouse and distribution, supply chain design 
• basic AutoCAD or 2D CAD

Preferred

• WMS (SAP EWM/Manhattan/Blue Yonder); slotting concepts.
• Automation exposure (AMR/ASRS/sorters) or simulation tools (AnyLogic/Arena).
• Power BI/Tableau; VBA/SQL/Python for data preparation.
• Domain exposure: eCommerce, retail, hi‑tech or healthcare.
• Lean/Kaizen and basic time & motion study methods
